50-Year-Old Found Dead in Budgam Orchard Under Mysterious Circumstances

Budgam, Apr 11 : A 50-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances in an orchard in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday, officials said.

The deceased was identified as Fayaz Ahmad Bhat, son of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, a resident of Humhama. His body was spotted in the morning hours in the orchard area of Sir Syed Abad, Sheikhpora, they said.

A police team rushed to the spot after being informed and took the body into custody, officials added.

Police have registered a case and initiated proceedings to ascertain the cause of death. Further investigation is underway. (KNS)
