DIG SKR chairs crime & security review meeting in Anantnag

Srinagar, Dec 13: DIG South Kashmir Range, Javid Iqbal Matoo on Saturday held a comprehensive Crime and Security Review Meeting at DPO Anantnag. During the meeting, the DIG reviewed the crime situation, law and order, and security arrangements in the district. He stressed the importance of proactive policing, community engagement, and decisive action against criminal activities. Special emphasis was placed on strengthening intelligence networks, improving coordination among units, and ensuring quick responses to emerging threats. Officers were directed to intensify efforts against drug trafficking, cybercrime, and social evils, while also focusing on public safety and confidence-building measures. The DIG appreciated the dedication of Anantnag Police and urged them to work with professionalism to maintain peace and security. The meeting was attended by senior officers including SSP Anantnag Amritpal Singh, SP Headquarters Kartik Shrotriya, SP Operations Furqan Qadir, SP North Aishmuqam Ramiz Raja, SO to DIG SKR, CPO DPO Anantnag, along with all SDPOs and SHOs of the district.
