ARTO BOI Srinagar leads mass pledge for 37th Road Safety Month

Srinagar, Jan 7: In a spirited reinforcement of traffic discipline, the ARTO Board of Inspection (BOI) Srinagar spearheaded a major pledge ceremony on Wednesday as part of the ongoing 37th Road Safety Month-2026.

The event witnessed an overwhelming participation of drivers, transporters, and vehicle owners gathered to reaffirm their commitment to safer roads. The ceremony was presided over by ARTO Muazam Ali who administered the solemn oath, urging the community to view road safety as a "collective responsibility."

Notably, this initiative was arranged in close collaboration with the Secure Path Civil Society Organisation. Continuing their steadfast mission of ensuring “safety and security for all,” the organization partnered with the department to amplify the message, marking a significant step toward transforming Srinagar’s commuting culture into one defined by caution and care.
