3 illegal Brick Kilns demolished in Chadoora

Budgam, Dec 13: Continuing its crackdown on unauthorized industrial units, District Administration Budgam on Saturday demolished three illegal brick kilns operating in Behrampora and Kultreh villages of Tehsil Chadoora in central Kashmir’s Budgam district. Officials said the action was carried out under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-Din Bhat as part of an ongoing drive against illegal brick kilns in the district. According to the administration, the demolished units were functioning without mandatory permissions and in clear violation of prescribed regulatory and environmental norms. Authorities said all required legal verifications and due formalities were completed before proceeding with the demolition. The district administration reiterated that strict action will continue against all unauthorized structures and industrial units operating in violation of the law, stressing its commitment to enforcing environmental regulations and safeguarding public interest. Earlier, on November 24, the authorities had demolished three illegal brick kilns operating in Mulashulla village of Beerwah Tehsil in Budgam district.
