Family assured of early repatriation of mortal remains
Srinagar, Apr 10: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah have expressed grief and anguish over the loss of lives of residents from Poonch and Rajouri in a tragic road accident in Kuwait.
In his condolence message, the Lieutenant Governor said, “The news of the tragic road accident in Kuwait is heart-wrenching. In this hour of grief, my thoughts and prayers are with the families who have lost their loved ones. I have directed the officials to extend all possible support to the bereaved families.”
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, in his condolence message, conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families, sharing in their pain during this moment of immense sorrow. He prayed for eternal peace for the departed souls and strength for the families to bear this irreparable loss.
The Chief Minister said the Government of Jammu and Kashmir is in close coordination with the concerned authorities to ensure that all necessary formalities are expedited for the early repatriation of the mortal remains, assuring that every possible assistance will be extended to the affected families.
A tragic road accident in Kuwait claimed the lives of residents of Jammu and Kashmir, including individuals hailing from the Thanamandi and Surankote areas of Rajouri and Poonch districts.
