Srinagar, April 4: : The Meteorological Centre Srinagar today issued a weather update predicting erratic weather conditions in Jammu and Kashmir till April 10, with cloudy skies and intermittent rain and snow expected today, accompanied by thunder and hailstorms.
Conditions are likely to improve gradually by tonight. Partly cloudy skies are predicted for April 5-6, followed by fresh spells of rain and snow from April 7-8.
Authorities have issued advisories cautioning residents of possible thunderstorms, gusty winds, and flash floods, with farmers advised to suspend operations and travellers urged to plan accordingly.
The weather is expected to remain unsettled, with brief spells of rain and snow at scattered places from April 9-11, before turning generally dry from April 12-15
