Driver Killed, Two Injured in School Van Accident at Srinagar's Lal Chowk; Students Safe

Srinagar, Apr 2: A tragic road accident near Ghanta Ghar at Lal Chowk in Srinagar on Thursday claimed the life of a school van driver, while two others sustained injuries. Fortunately, all students onboard escaped unhurt. Officials said the deceased
has been identified as Javeed Ahmad (47), a resident of Umair Abad, Bemina. He was critically injured after losing control of the school van near the SSI Bank area at Lal Chowk. He was immediately shifted to SMHS Hospital for
treatment; however, he later succumbed to his injuries. Two other individuals also suffered minor injuries in the incident and are currently undergoing treatment. Their condition is reported to be stable. Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further investigation.
