Srinagar, Apr 14: The Jammu and Kashmir Haj Committee (JKHC) has announced that Haj flights from the Srinagar Embarkation Point for Haj 2026 will commence from April 18, with the first batch of 432 pilgrims scheduled to depart on Saturday.
According to an official notification, the committee has released the detailed schedule for the initial flights along with reporting timings for pilgrims at Haj House, Bemina. Three flights, including QP-7521, QP-7520 and QP-7519, are scheduled for April 18.
A total of 145 pilgrims assigned to flight QP-7521 have been asked to report between 6:00 AM and 6:30 AM, while 143 pilgrims travelling on QP-7520 have to report from 8:15 AM to 8:45 AM. For flight QP-7519, the reporting time for 144 pilgrims has been fixed between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM, the notification issued by Executive Officer of the J&K Haj Committee, Dr Shujaat Qureshi, reads.
The Haj Committee has advised all pilgrims to strictly adhere to the stipulated reporting times at Haj House to ensure smooth processing and timely departures.
The notification further directs pilgrims to carry their original passports along with a copy of the visa, as well as their health and vaccination cards.
The notice further states that only standard baggage will be permitted and passengers have been cautioned against including any prohibited items in their check-in luggage, in accordance with airline regulations.
The Haj Committee also stated that the flight schedule for the remaining pilgrims will be notified separately.
