Udhampur court grants life imprisonment to couple in 2016 murder case

A sessions court in Udhampur has awarded life imprisonment to a husband-wife duo for murdering a man in the Chenani area here in 2016.
While awarding the life sentence to convict Jolly Ram and his wife Thakri Devi on Wednesday, the court also imposed a fine of Rs 50 thousand on each, the prosecution said. The same shall be paid as compensation to the kids of the deceased, the court said.(ANI)
