Tarun Chugh thanks PM for Bharat Ratna to Rao, Singh, Swaminathan

Srinagar, Feb 09: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary Tarun Chugh on Friday thanked PM Modi for announcing Bharat Ratna to former prime ministers - PV Narasimha Rao and Chaudhary Charan Singh, and agriculture scientist MS Swaminathan. 
In a statement, Chugh said, "Heartfelt thanks to respected Prime Minister Modi for announcing the award of Bharat Ratna to Swaminathan. The contribution of Narasimha Rao in improving our economy, M S Swaminathan in the upliftment of the agricultural sector and Choudhary Charan Shing in leading India at critical times are unique."
He added that India's highest civilian honour is a true tribute to the work these great men did for the country.
