Jammu-Srinagar National Highway opens for two-way traffic

Despite inclement weather, traffic on 270 Kilometres Srinagar-Jammu National Highway was released from both ends on Sunday.
A J&K Traffic Spokesperson said that , LMVs (Passenger) are being released from both ends on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. People are advised to follow lane discipline, drive with cautiously, as part of road between Nashri and NAVYUG Tunnel is single lane, slippery condition at a number of places and also raining on whole NH-44."
Meanwhile, at least seven flights were canceled while other flight operations were put on standby as a fresh snow blanket covered Srinagar City, officials said Sunday.
