Padder, 21 April:- Sunil Sharma, Leader of Opposition (LOP) distributed the Learning tablets among the students, with a vision to strengthen digital education and youth empowerment in the remote region of Padder, at Government Degree College (GDC) Padder.

Sunil Sharma, while distributing the tables, interacted with the students and encouraged them to fully utilize digital resources to excel in academics and compete at national and global levels in the presence of faculty members, students, and local representatives. This event marks an important milestone in enhancing access to modern digital learning tools in one of the most remote regions of Jammu & Kashmir, he stressed.

The initiative was made possible through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts of KK Modi Group, implemented in collaboration with Tathya Welfare Foundation. The KK Modi Group, led by its Chairperson and Managing Director Dr.Bina Modi, has been at the forefront of impactful educational initiatives across the country.

Sunil Sharma emphasized that digital empowerment is no longer a luxury but a necessity in today’s education system. He stated that bridging the digital divide in remote areas like Padder is crucial to ensure that students are not left behind in the rapidly evolving technological landscape.

Sharma further remarked that the youth of Padder possess immense potential, and it is our responsibility to provide them with the right tools and opportunities. These tablets are not just devices but gateways to knowledge, innovation, and a brighter future. Our government and public representatives are fully committed to ensuring that even the remotest corners of Jammu & Kashmir are connected with the digital revolution, he added.
