Manoj Sinha on Saturday expressed deep gratitude to
Prime Minister Narendra Modiand
Union Minister for Rural Development & Agriculture, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, for sanctioning the construction of
5,061 housesunder the
Special Project of the PradhanMantriAwaasYojana – Gramin (PMAY-G).
The houses will benefit families across rural areas of
Jammu and Kashmir whose homes were severely damaged during the recent
natural calamities.
“Grateful to Hon'ble PM Shri @NarendramodiJi and Hon’ble Union Minister of Rural Development, Shri @ChouhanShivrajJi for sanctioning the construction of 5,061 houses damaged due to the recent natural calamities across rural J&K,” the Lieutenant Governor posted on
X (formerly Twitter).
The LG emphasised that this move would not only restore
safety and shelter but also bring
economic and emotional stability to thousands of affected households.
“This approval under the special project of PMAY-G will bring back safety and stability in the lives of thousands of households. A new home will enable families to regain economic stability, significantly improving their well-being,” he added.
The project is expected to play a crucial role in the
rehabilitation and recovery of disaster-affected families and aligns with the government’s ongoing commitment to uplift
rural communities and ensure
dignified living conditionsfor all.
