Vaccination schedule announced for selected Hajj Pilgrims in Budgam

Budgam, Jan 29: Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Budgam has announced the vaccination schedule for selected Hajj pilgrims of District Budgam for the year 2026.

According to CMO Budgam , vaccination camps will be conducted on February 5 and 6 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. across ten designated health facilities in the district.

The vaccination centres include SDH Beerwah, Chief Medical Office Budgam, SDH Chadoora, SDH Charar-i-Shareef, CHC Chattergam, PHC Khag, SDH Khansahib, SDH Magam, and PHC Soibugh.

“All selected pilgrims are requested to report to their respective designated hospitals for vaccination during the scheduled dates. No pilgrim from outside District Budgam will be vaccinated within the district,” the CMO said.

He further clarified that pilgrims must receive vaccination only at the health facility of their respective medical block, and no pilgrim will be vaccinated at any other block within the district.

He added that vaccination cards have already been dispatched to the concerned medical blocks and the district office.
