Currently, nearly 96,000 Self-Help Groups, 7,500 Village Organizations, and 650 Cluster-Level Federations are strengthening the rural livelihoods ecosystem in J&K.
Farmers in J&K are being supported through flagship schemes including PM-Kisan, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Agriculture Infrastructure Fund, Horticulture Mission, Farmer-Producer Organisations (FPOs), e-NAM, and micro-irrigation initiatives.
The Union Minister arrived in Srinagar on Monday for a two-day visit. The launch event on Tuesday is being seen as a key step in enhancing rural connectivity and livelihood opportunities across the Union Territory.
