Sagar Calls for Smooth Conduct of Urs at Aali Kadal

Srinagar, May 6: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference General Secretary and MLA Khanyar Ali Muhammad Sagar on Wednesday urged the administration to ensure adequate arrangements for the upcoming Urs of Hazrat Syed Muhammad Amin Mantaqi Owaisi at his shrine in Aali Kadal.

 

In a statement, Sagar highlighted the spiritual and cultural significance of the annual Urs and called for timely measures to facilitate devotees. He stressed the need for uninterrupted water and electricity supply, proper sanitation, security arrangements and effective traffic management during the observance.

 

He also urged authorities to coordinate closely with local stakeholders and shrine management to ensure the event is conducted smoothly and peacefully.

 

Sagar said the Urs is an important occasion of faith and devotion, and emphasised that all arrangements should reflect its sanctity and importance.
