SRINAGAR: To fill the vacant positions of Chief Education Officers in various districts, the Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered a reshuffle in the School Education Department (SED). Four senior officers have been transferred and appointed as in-charge Chief Education Officers (CEOs) in key districts.
According to the official order, Abdul Rashid Mir, who was serving as in-charge Principal at DIET Bandipora, has been appointed as in-charge CEO of Baramulla. He will also hold the additional charge of Principal at DIET Sopore, officials said.
In another administrative move, Manzoor Ahmad Najar, the in-charge Principal of DIET Ganderbal, has been transferred and posted as in-charge CEO of Kupwara.
Similarly, Bashir Ahmad Shah, previously attached to the Directorate of School Education Kashmir, has been appointed as in-charge CEO of Shopian.
In the Jammu division, Subash Chander Gupta, currently serving as in-charge Principal at DIET Kud, has been appointed as in-charge CEO of Udhampur. This completes the recent round of postings initiated by the department.
