MLA Salman Sagar interacts with residents of Hazratbal

Srinagar, May 1: Hazratbal MLA Salman Ali Sagar visited Gulshan Abad, Rakh-e-Zakoora, and nearby areas on Friday, where he met local residents and listened to their concerns.

During the visit, he was accompanied by former Vice Chancellor of Kashmir University, Dr. Khurshid Andrabi, at his residence. The interaction gave residents a chance to directly share the problems they are facing in their localities.

People raised several issues including the condition of city roads, school education, Roads and Buildings (R&B) department works, Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) services, drainage systems, Power Development Department (PDD) concerns, and other civic problems.

The MLA assured the residents that the issues would be taken up with the concerned departments without delay. He also issued on-the-spot instructions to officials present to speed up action on urgent matters.

Sagar further said that maximum development works would be taken up under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) to address public grievances at the earliest.

He reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that governance and public services reach every household across the Hazratbal constituency.
