Ladakh’s development journey shines bright: LG Gupta on R-Day

Leh, Jan 26: Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta, on Sunday extended greetings to the people of Ladakh and the entire country on the occasion of the 77th Republic Day celebrations held in Leh. Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the Republic Day function, the LG said, “I would like to congratulate all the people of Ladakh and Bharat. Ladakh is on the path of development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.” He said Ladakh has witnessed steady progress in different sectors, including education, tourism and overall development, adding that the region is moving forward with new opportunities. Highlighting the developmental journey, the LG said, “Our journey from 2019 to 2025 is unique. In the coming time, we will take Ladakh to new heights.” Calling for unity and collective efforts, Gupta urged the people to take a pledge on Republic Day for the welfare of the region. “Let us all take a commitment that this Gantantra Day will be a good time for all the people of Ladakh. Let us all work together for the development of Ladakh,” he said. Earlier, while addressing the gathering during the Republic Day celebrations, LG Kavinder Gupta also spoke about various ongoing and upcoming developmental projects in Ladakh.
