Srinagar, Jan 28: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is set to restore its official website from January 29 after it remained inaccessible for the past ten days due to upgradation work.
An official from JKBOSE told Rising Kashmir that the technical upgradation of the board’s official website has been completed and all online services will resume from Thursday.
“During the shutdown period, all online services, including applications for re-evaluation and requests for photocopies of answer scripts, remained suspended,” the official said.
He further informed that JKBOSE will soon announce the dates for re-evaluation and photocopies of answer scripts for Class 10 and Class 12 examinations. Students will be able to apply for these services through the online mode once the website becomes fully functional.
“The official website will start functioning smoothly from tomorrow, enabling students to easily submit applications for re-evaluation and photocopies of answer scripts at their convenience,” the official added.
JKBOSE also expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to students, parents, and other stakeholders during the shutdown period.
Notably, the Board had declared the results of the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations on January 14 this month. The JKBOSE website experienced technical issues and went down during the morning hours, soon after the declaration of the Class 10 results.
