JKBOSE to declare class 11 results in first week of Feb

Srinagar, Jan 28: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is set to declare the results of the Class 11 examinations in the first week of February. Chairman JKBOSE, Ghulam Hassan Sheikh said told the Rising Kashmir said that preparations for the declaration of the results are in the final stages and the board is committed to announcing results within the stipulated timeframe. “The preparation for the declaration of the Class 11 results is underway. The results will be declared at any time during the first week of February,” he said. Sheikh said that JKBOSE has already successfully conducted the examinations for the winter zone areas of Jammu and Kashmir following the change in the academic calendar from March to November by the Jammu and Kashmir Government. “We have already declared the results of Class 10 and Class 12 within the scheduled time. We are also set to conduct board examinations in the summer zone areas of the Jammu division from February 2026,” he said. The JKBOSE Chairman further informed that the board has already issued the datesheets for Classes 10, 11, and 12 for the summer zone areas of the Jammu division. Following the declaration of the Class 11 results in early February, the board examinations in the summer zones will commence as per schedule. “All necessary procedures have been finalized to ensure the timely declaration of the Class 11 results,” Sheikh said. He said that Students will be able to check their results by entering their examination roll number and registration number on the official JKBOSE website as well as on Indianresults.com. In addition, the results gazettes will be distributed through WhatsApp and other digital platforms, enabling students to access their results both online and offline. To ease the academic transition, Sheikh Added that JKBOSE had already provided a 15 per cent relaxation in the syllabus for Classes 10, 11 and 12, aimed at reducing academic stress and supporting students during the shift in the academic calendar.
