Covid positive mothers who are home quarantined should breastfeed their infants inspite of being infected.

They must wear a facemask and maintain hand hygiene before touching or feeding their babies. They should avoid touching the baby unless necessary. They should also maintain good ventilation in the room. The baby should be put to sleep in a couch so that the physical distance is maintained during sleep. Breastfeeding is paramount for the proper  growth and development of the babies.
