Grand inauguration of AM Kia Workshop in Udhampur marks a new milestone

Udhampur, Jan 30: AM Group on Friday announced the grand inauguration of the AM Kia Showroom along with the launch of the All-New ‘Badass Seltos’, followed by the inauguration of the AM Kia Workshop, marking a significant expansion of Kia’s footprint in the region.

The unveil ceremony was held at AM Kia Showroom, Omara Morh, Omara Colony, Flata Jakheni Road, Udhampur, followed by the workshop inauguration at Plot No. 7, Industrial Estate, IID Centre SICOP, Udhampur – 182104.

The launch event witnessed an enthusiastic turnout of customers, automobile enthusiasts, media representatives and digital creators from across the region, reflecting the strong anticipation surrounding Kia’s most advanced Seltos yet.

The prestigious occasion was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Pawan Gupta (MLA). The dignitaries appreciated Kia’s continued focus on innovation, safety and responsible mobility, adding distinction to the event.

The successful launch and inauguration were held under the visionary leadership of Chairman Jatinder Gupta and Directors Ankur Mahajan, Akshay Mahajan, Aryan Mahajan and Sahira Mahajan, reaffirming AM Kia’s position as a trusted and customer-centric automotive destination in Jammu & Kashmir.

Built on Kia’s global K3 platform, making its India debut, the All-New Kia Seltos represents a clear evolution in scale, sophistication and capability. With a segment-leading length of 4,460 mm, enhanced width of 1,830 mm, and a longer wheelbase of 2,690 mm, the SUV delivers a commanding road presence, superior stability and exceptional cabin space, strengthening its benchmark status in the mid-SUV segment.

The exterior design embodies Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ philosophy with the bold new Digital Tiger Face, Ice Cube LED projection headlamps, Star Map LED DRLs and connected LED tail lamps.

Sporty 18-inch crystal-cut alloy wheels and first-in-segment automatic streamline door handles further enhance its contemporary SUV appeal. The All-New Kia Seltos is offered in 10 mono-tone colour options, including the newly introduced Morning Haze and Magma Red shades.

Inside, the All-New Kia Seltos reinforces Kia’s mass-premium positioning with a refined and technology-driven cabin. Key highlights include the 75.18 cm (30-inch) Trinity Panoramic Display Panel, premium leatherette upholstery, ventilated front seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver seat with memory, Bose 8-speaker premium audio system, 64-colour ambient mood lighting and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, delivering a superior driving and ownership experience.

Safety remains a cornerstone of the All-New Kia Seltos, featuring a comprehensive 24-standard safety package including six airbags, ABS and Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC). This is further strengthened by a Level-2 ADAS suite with 21 autonomous features, supported by a 360-degree surround view camera and Blind View Monitor, significantly enhancing driver confidence and occupant protection.
