Srinagar, Apr 18: An earthquake of magnitude 5.6 struck Afghanistan on Saturday morning, tremors felt across Kashmir valley.

In a post on X, National Centre for Seismology wrote, "EQ of M: 5.6, On: 18/04/2026 08:24:17 IST, Lat: 36.453 N, Long: 70.789 E, Depth: 170 Km, Location: Afghanistan.
