District admin Shopian intensifies outreach under Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore

Shopian, Dec 24: On the sixth day of the district-wide people-centric outreach campaign “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore", the District Administration Shopian on Wednesday continued its efforts to take governance to the doorsteps of the people by organising grievance redressal and public interaction camps across multiple Panchayat Halqas of the district.

As per today’s schedule, camps were organised in the Panchayat Halqas of Narwani, Herman (CS Khan), Nadigam, Nowgam, Kaprin, Mantribugh, Pehlipora-A, Pehlipora-B, Nassaspora, Ramnagri-A, Heerpora-Chootipora and Awneera, where large numbers of residents participated and interacted directly with the concerned officers.

During the outreach programmes, people raised various issues and grievances related to revenue matters, public services, developmental works and implementation of welfare schemes.

Officers from different line departments listened to the grievances, registered them for timely redressal and provided on-the-spot solutions wherever feasible.

Meanwhile, a Mega Mutation Attestation Camp was also organised by Naib Tehsildar Shopian, Sajjad Wani, along with his team, under the aegis of the “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” initiative.

During the camp, a total of 241 mutations were attested, and certified copies were provided to the applicants on the spot, bringing significant relief to the beneficiaries and expediting revenue-related services.
