Dir Info condoles demise of Editor-in-Chief Jammu Jottings

Jammu, Dec 24: Director, Directorate of Information and Public Relations, Nitish Rajora, has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of Subash Mehra, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Jammu Jottings newspaper. Mehra passed away on Wednesday at ASCOMS Hospital after a prolonged illness. Conveying deep sympathies to the bereaved family, the Director prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and courage for the family to bear this irreparable loss. The Director described Subash Mehra as a noble soul and a great human being who always championed the interests of the common masses through his journalistic aptitude and determination. He stated that the loss of the late Mehra has created a void in the world of journalism, and his contributions to society will always be remembered by the media fraternity. He also expressed solidarity with the Managing Editor, Mohit Mehra, son of the deceased.
