Being a man or a woman has a significant bearing on health of societies. Due to some prevalent socio-cultural issues in our communities, the health of women and girls become a particular concern. Women play a vital role in our communities. Healthy women will ensure a healthy family, healthy community and healthy nation. Let us together make it happen  to improve women's health by some interventions like heathy lifestyle which include healthy food, exercise, no to tobacco, alcohol & drugs. Anemia is prevalent in our society and need to be taken care of. Other issues faced by present day woman is related to sexual health and sexual education, menstrual hygiene, mental health, violence prevention, communicable and non-communicable diseases.Their prevention,detection and treatment should be included in govt health policy. Pregnancy  issues like proper antenatal check ups, institutional deliveries etc should be promoted.
