Principal Secretary to Government for Housing and Urban Development Department reviews civil works , Beautification in the city

Principal Secretary to Government for Housing andUrbanDevelopment Department ,Mr Deeraj Gupta, along with Commissioner SMC ,Mr Athar Amir Khan, today visited several places in the city to take stock of different works of SMC.

Principal Secretary to Government for Housing andUrbanDevelopment Department ,Mr Deeraj Gupta, along with Commissioner SMC ,Mr Athar Amir Khan, today visited several places in the city to take stock of different works of SMC.
 
He was accompanied by Chief Engineer SSCL ,Engineers of  SMC, R&B and other  SMC officers  were present on the occassion.
 
Several directions were given with regard to beautification  of city in which it has been directed to extensively  beautify all  the fly overs along with the spaces earmarked for beautification.. 
 
Mr Deeraj also visited Abbattoir coming up at Alluchi Bagh  to take stock of work in progress   where he has passed on directions to speed up the ongoing work and ensure to complete it in a time  bound manner.
 
Commissioner SMC apprised him that the work on Abbattoir would be completed by the end of this August.
 
He also visited cattle pond at Tengpora where he reviewed the ABC AR  Dog kennels which are under construction and the OT facilities for Dog sterilization at site.
 
Directions were passed to complete the work at site within one months time.
 
He also visited Shivpora to review   the cycle track which is already in a state of readiness.
