Srinagar, April 21: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education has uploaded previous years’ question papers for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) examination for the academic session 2025–26 on its official website to assist students in their preparation.

According to an official circular issued by Director Academics, Parveen Singh, the facility is aimed at students of government schools currently studying in Class 9 who have applied for the NMMS scheme. The Board has made these papers available to help candidates better understand the examination pattern and enhance their readiness.

The model question papers have been uploaded under a dedicated “Scholarship” section on the official JKBOSE website, ensuring easy and convenient access for students.

The circular further directs all Chief Education Officers (CEOs), functioning as District Nodal Officers, and Heads of Institutions (HOIs) to widely disseminate this information among eligible students. They have also been asked to ensure that students make effective use of these previous years’ papers while preparing for the forthcoming NMMS examination.

The initiative is expected to significantly benefit aspirants by providing them with valuable practice material and improving their overall performance in the examination, the statement further adds.
