A female tourist from Gujarat died due to cardiac arrest in summer capital Srinagar on Saturday.

A female tourist from Gujarat died due to cardiac arrest in summer capital Srinagar on Saturday.

An official said the tourist identified as Salma Sidiqui, wife of Siddiqui Bhai Mansoor, a resident of Ahmadabad Gujarat who was staying at a local hotel.

She had complained of chest pain and was rushed to SMHS hospital where she died.

Doctors at SMHS hospital while examining the lady declared her dead with the reason cited of heart attack, an official said.
