Posted on Aug 02, 2021 | Author Dr. Sundeep Mishra,
A) Foods to Eat
1. Foods that contain Omega-3 fatty acids - choose fatty fish for ≥ 2 meals each week (mackerel, salmon, sardines, tuna, herring, and trout)
2. Vegetarian foods rich in Omega-3 fatty acids are Chia seeds, Hemp seeds, Flax seeds, Walnuts, Rajma beans (non-processed)
3. Plenty of non starchy vegetables; mushrooms & leafy vegetables like cauliflower, kale
4. Eat fruits that are lower in fructose;  such as melon, grapefruit, strawberries, bananas, peaches
5. High-fiber whole grains

B) Foods to Avoid
1. Avoid sugar containing beverages. Switch to sparkling water with a squeeze of lime juice. Or try a tangy herbal iced-tea blend that tastes great without added sugar
2. Avoid excessive alcohol
3. Starchy vegetables like corn, peas, and potatoes
4. Canned foods like baked beans or even fish
