Sudeva Delhi FC conducts trials in Srinagar

Srinagar, June 19:  Sudeva Delhi FC conducted trials for under 13, under 15, under 18, and under 22 age groups at TRC Turf Srinagar.
As per the club representatives, the two-day trial witnessed the participation of around 550 players from all districts from Kashmir including players from Jammu, Kishtwar and Ladakh.
The owner of the club Anuj Gupta was present himself on the occasion when trials were held.
Sudeva Delhi FC is a Delhi based I league club. “It was 100% scholarship trails, where selected players will get the opportunity to play in Sudeva Delhi FC academy and their schooling will be done by the club as it has the residential set up,” the Club representatives said.
During the trials 26 players were selected. Now, these players will join the club with a proper contract, provided their parents will allow them for the residential set up.
On the occasion, Anuj Gupta praised the work of State Football Academy (SFA) run by J&K Sports Council headed by International Star Mehraj Ud Din Wadoo as he saw a lot of talented players in SFA.
"I was surprised how these kids have been trained and their skills and decision making have been groomed by Wadoo, " he said.
He further said he would love to come here again next year to get more such talented players.
