SMC celebrates Republic Day

Mayor said that SMC remains committed to their welfare and to create a safe and dignified working atmosphere for them. Many cultural and musical programs were organised on the occasion.

Mayor Srinagar  Junaid Azim Mattu in presence of Commissioner SMC Athar Amir Khan today  unfurled the National Flag on the occassion of 73rd Republic Day at SMC central Office Karna Nagar. 
 
Besides Corporators all the Senior Officers including the other employees of the Corporation were present.
 
On the occasion of 73rd Republic Day, Mattu  extended his greetings and felicitations to all fellow citizens.
 
"May we continue to draw inspiration from the values enshrined in our constitution and our collective struggle as a nation," he said..
The new SMC sanitation workers’ uniforms   were  also unveiled on the occaasion.
 
 Commissioner SMC Mr Athar Amir appreciated the dedication and spirit of sanitation workers in rendering their services effortlessly and said that   their work and dedication to the city is  unparalleled.
 
Mayor said that SMC  remains committed to their welfare and to create a safe and dignified working atmosphere for them.
 
Many cultural and musical programs were organised on the occasion.
