Owners of ‘Shopyll Store’ keep small profit margins to win pan India customers

Posted on Jul 09, 2021 | Author Shugufta Rashid
Srinagar, July 05: With an aim to earn a meager profit from its customers and most importantly to increase its customer base, ‘Shopyll Store’— an online store in the frontier district Kupwara is easing the burden of the locals in buying any sort of daily product.
Malik Mehrose, the co-owner of the in-store, pick-up and delivery outlet, said that they are keeping a meager margin to sell their merchandise daily to the people of Kashmir especially to the locals in district Kupwara.
The 20-year-old Mehrose is doing both “Business to Business” (B2B) and “Business to Customer” (B2C) dealings across Kashmir.
“In B2B dealing, we are selling dry fruits and other famous commodities of Kashmir like Saffron, Shawl and other things via online and in-store outlets,” Mehrose informed.
Hailing from Drugmulla area of the district, Mehrose said, “In B2C dealing, we provide household grocery and other products all over India. In most of our products we keep very little margin of profit as compared to other online outlets to make ourselves distinct.”
Shopyll Store has two more co-owners Malik Musaib and Ashiq Hassan who supported Mehrose in establishing and upgrading the store to complete their dream of fully covering Jammu and Kashmir as well as the entire India.
Talking about his education, Mehrose said that he has recently passed his 12th standard examinations and got selected for MBBS in Bangladesh.
In his official communiqué for his customers, Mehrose has written, “Shopyll Store is an online universal platform for both consumers as well as for wholesales. We sell all the Kashmiri Dry Fruits and other consumer products at a very affordable price through our website https://www.shopyll.store at the doorstep of our customers.”
“We created our store’s website last year in October 2020 as it was difficult to reach the customers,” he said.
Mehrose further said that the Shopyll Store recently has also started home delivery of basic household products and groceries in the north region of Jammu and Kashmir.
