Man arrested for selling fake fungicides after 11 years

 Srinagar, Dec 06: Crime Branch Kashmir has nabbed an accused who had been on the run for eleven years in connection with a case involving selling of fake fungicides in the Valley.
According to Crime branch Kashmir spokesman, “Today on December 6, 2021, Crime Branch Kashmir has arrested one accused Mohd Yousuf Bhat, Son of Sonaullah Bhat Resident of Qazigund, who was involved in the case, FIR 21/1995 U/S 420,483 of P/S CBK for sale of fake and duplicate fungicides in the valley.
 He said the chargesheet in the instant case was filed in the court on 30.07.1998. However, the accused Mohd Yousuf Bhat, during the court trial absconded and was evading arrest since 2010, for which warrant U/S   512 Cr.PC  was issued by the  Court of City Judge Srinagar.
 The warrant has been executed by Crime Branch Kashmir on 06.12.2021 and the said accused stands arrested after more than a period of 11 years.
