Posted on Dec 24, 2021 | Author RK News
Srinagar, Dec 23: As a significant acknowledgement of its HR development, J&K Bank bagged ‘Best Employer Brand Award’ in ‘The North India Best Employer Brand Awards 2021’ featuring the top organizations from North India region, which are exemplary in HR and have used marketing communications effectively for Human Resources Development.
Zonal Head Delhi, Kirti Sharma received the award today on behalf of the Bank from Employer Branding Institute India during 16th Employer Branding Awards at Taj Mahal Hotel in New Delhi.
Commenting upon the award, the Bank’s Chairman and Managing Director, R K Chhibber said, “I am happy to hear that our HRD Department has brought us laurels under ‘Best Employer Brand Award’ category. Acknowledgement at such a forum is really an honour for the Bank. What makes the news more pleasant is the fact that this is a third consecutive honour that we have earned during this month after achieving second highest percentage of digital payment transactions under “Digital Payments Utsav" and second spot in ‘Process Innovation’ category of Infosys Finacle Innovation Awards 2021.”
“However, recognition coming from these platforms of the country should only strengthen our resolve to further update our capacities, upgrade our procedures and upskill our people”, the CMD added.
Notably, some of the key criteria assessed included translating, combining vision with HR strategy, building line to orient HR Strategy with business and cultivating competencies for the future to enable the organization to be future-ready.

Ghazala Abdullah (GA): It was 2001 when J&K Lakes Conservation & Management Authority (LC&MA) formed Watershed Management Division in order to look after issues emerging from catchment areas and to address them as per the required resources available.
