Health facilities designated as category-2 Covid centres in Rajouri

Rajouri, Jan 16:- With fresh surge in Coronavirus, the District Magistrate, Vikas Kundal has designated Government/private hospitals and clinical establishments as Category 2 Covid Health centres and asked the management to keep their beds in readiness to meet out any emergency.
The District Magistrate has asked the seven private hospitals and clinical establishments Orthomaxx Multispeciality Hospital Rajouri, Matrix Hospital Jawhar Nagar Rajouri, Rajouri Medicity Hospital Rajouri, Navjeevan Nursing Near GMC Rajouri, Dr Nissar Surgical Hospital Rajouri, Smt Shanti Devi Trust Hospital Sunderbani and KRS Nursing Home Sunderbani to reserve 21 beds for treatment of COVID-19 patients.
“Keeping in view the emerging situations due to Covid 19 and the recent spike in number it is imperative to designate Government/Private Hospitals and clinical establishments to designate them as Category 2 Covid Health centres so that these establishments remain in readiness to meet any emergency,” the order reads.
The Chief Medical Officer and Medical Superintendent have been directed to ascertain the availability of men, machinery and infrastructure as per SoP.
