Posted on Aug 18, 2021 | Author RK News
Srinagar, Aug 17: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(HPCL), A Govt. of India Enterprise Tuesday launched six Door to Door delivery Diesel (HSD) Bowser from its Petroleum Depot at Pampore.

The inauguration of Bowsers was done by Rakesh Misri, Director Mktg. HPCL in presence of Rajesh Mehtani – Chief General Manager North Zone and other officials of HPCL from J&K Retail Region.

HP FUEL CONNECT is a unique concept of delivering Diesel at the doorstep of customers to meet their fuel requirements for Industrial use, stationery equipment like DG sets, Earthmovers, Brick Kilns, Bitumen Plants, Steam & water boilers, Central Heating etc. All such customers are presently meeting their fuel requirements by purchasing Diesel from Petrol pumps and carrying the same in Drums to their installations. This results in expenditure on Logistics /transportation for carrying fuel from petrol pumps to installations. There is every chance of fuel spillage during carriage of Diesel in drums and also there are chances of pilferage & adulteration en route from petrol pumps to installations of the customer.

This method of carrying Diesel in Drums is also a potential Safety Hazard. DDD Bowsers are equipped with state of art technology electronic dispensing units and an automation system, which shall enable us to deliver metered fuel at customer premises without incurring extra expenditure on transportation. This will ease the customer’s efforts for getting fuel for their equipment & machinery and shall also enable them to get the exact quantity of metered fuel at their doorstep. Customers will also get an automation generation printed receipts for the fuel dispensed at their premises. DDD Bowsers are loaded from HPCL Pampore Depot and sealed properly, Dispensing units have been verified and sealed by the Legal Metrology Department of J&K Govt after verification for the exact quantity of fuel being dispensed. These efforts shall enable customers to get 100 % Quality & Quantity assured fuel at their doorstep.

Director Marketing HPCL said that the company has so far launched six DDD Bowser which is operated by its authorized FuelEnts registered under Start-Up India which is a flagship initiative of the Government of India. HPCL plans to launch many more such Bowsers in future so that our Industrial customers operating in far-flung Industrial Areas, Govt. & Private Institutions, Business establishments like Hotels, restaurants, telecommunication towers, Banks, Agricultural equipment operators in urban as well as rural markets shall be benefited at large.
