Srinagar, Dec 23: The Jammu and Kashmir Higher Education Department Thursday announced winter vacation for all degree colleges of Kashmir division and winter zones of Jammu division from December-27.

The newly appointed Principal Secretary, Higher Education Department, Rohit Kansal said all the government degree colleges of Kashmir division and Jammu division falling under winter zone shall observe the vacations from December 27 to February 14.

Besides, Kansal in an order also said that the government degree colleges of Jammu division falling under summer zones shall observe the winter vacations from December 27 to January 05.

Earlier, the Jammu and Kashmir Government had announced the winter vacations dates for all schools of Kashmir division and winter zones of Jammu region from December 06.
