DarulKhair distributes relief material among Srinagar fire victims

Srinagar, July 31: DarulKhairMirwaiz Manzil has expressed deep anguish over the huge loss of property due to the fire incident at Palapora, Guzarbal in the Noorbagh area of Srinagar's Shahr-e-Khaas in which around a dozen residential houses were gutted. It expressed heartfelt solidarity and sympathy with the affected families and stressed for their immediate rehabilitation.
 
According to a statement, on the directions of the DarulKhairMirwaiz Manzil patron MirwaizDrMoulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, who continues to be under house arrest, a delegation of the organisation led by Mufti Ghulam Rasool Samoon visited the affected families of PalaporaGuzarbalNoorbagh and distributed rice, atta, blankets, kitchen kits and other items of basic necessity among them. The delegation also expressed solidarity with them on behalf of DarulKhair and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.
In wake of the continuous lockdown owing to the COVID-19 pandemic which has caused severe financial difficulties for the poor, the DarulKhairMirwaiz Manzil is continuing with its relief efforts under its “Feed A Family” programme.
 
In this regard, the members of DarulKhair are continuing with distributing relief items among the poor through the heads of the masjid committees of different areas including Eidgah, Natipora and Botashah Mohalla of Lalbazar. These kits are delivered to the masjid committees which after identifying the deserving families provide them with these kits.
 
In view of the current dire situation and economic crisis, the DarulKhairMirwaiz Manzil has once again strongly appealed to all the affluent people to continue their financial support to the charitable institution so that the DarulKhair can continue with its relief and rehabilitation mission.
 
DarulKhair has appealed to people to send donations, sadaqah and contributions to it through its J&K Bank Account No. 0086010100003534, IFSC Code: JAKA0BULBUL.
 
DarulKhairMirwaiz Manzil has extended its heartfelt gratitude to all the well-wishers, devotees and lovers who are continuously sending their donations, and alms online to DarulKhair's bank account number.
