Train services resumed Tuesday morning after remaining suspended for “security reasons” in the Kashmir valley in view of a shutdown call given by Joint Resistance Leaderhip (JRL) against the unabated incidents of braid chopping across the Valley.
“We have resumed all train runs in the Valley,” a senior railway official said.
He said all train runs between Srinagar-Budgam to Baramulla have been resumed.
Therefore, train will also chug on Srinagar-Anantnag-Qazigund to Banihal.
This was the second time that the train service was suspended for “security reasons” in the Valley this month.
