Observing that society makes immense contribution towards the education of students, President Ram Nath Kovind Saturday urged them to remain disposed for repaying the debt and to work for the cause of humanity.
“There is a contribution of society, region and the country besides family in education. Therefore, students should not forget their debt and should always be ready to work in the interest of the country, society and people,” Kovind said while addressing the convocation ceremony of Indira Gandhi National Tribal University at Amarkantak in Madhya Pradesh's Anuppur district.
On the occasion, first lady Savita Kovind, Madhya Pradesh Governor OP Kohli and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan were also present. The President gave gold medals and titles to meritorious students.
