Srinagar, Sept 2: The Rural Development, Panchayat Raj and Law and Parliamentary affairs minister Ali Mohammad Sagar Thursday asked separatists to show flexibility and respond to the talks’ offer of New Delhi.
“The dialogue is the only effective means to sort out issues and resolve complex problems in a democratic way,” Sagar said after inaugurating a Gram Sabha at Kulgam attended by representatives of various villages of the district.
Stating that no issue whether big or small can be resolved without sustained an effective parleys, he maintained that majority of the political parties cutting across the table have also laid importance in dialogue and the same was ratified by the Union Home Minister in the Parliament.
He said the separatists should show flexibility and respond to the talks offer of Home Minister in a positive manner.
“The dialogue is imperative for ending the uncertainty and the Government would facilitate the same as has been its stand for long. The Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has time again assured that the Government would contribute its bit in being a facilitator for the same. We have already spelt out agenda regarding the political solution of the issue and time again assured all parties of effectively facilitating the process of dialogue”, he added.
