Qayoom shifted to Kotbalwal

Srinagar, Sept 06: The Bar Association on Monday warned Government after its President, Mian Qayoom was shifted from Hiranagar jail to Kotbalwal in Jammu.
 The J&K  High Court has directed the state  to shift detained Qayoom to  any jail  in Kashmir, however, authorities have not responded to the directives.

 “We apprehend any mischief can happen to Qayoom as he has filed a contempt petition against the Superintendent of the jail  and he (Qayoom) has has also appeared as a witness in this contempt petition. These facts are known to the government, but they still shifted him to Kotbalwal, ”  Bar Vice President, Advocate Aijaz Bedar told Rising Kashmir.
