Rising Kashmir News
Srinagar, Sept 06:
Stating that lust for power is compelling National Conference patron Farooq Abdullah to think Kashmir’s freedom as being impossible, Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front Monday said independent JK would emerge as model welfare state.

In a statement to media JKLF vice-chairman, Advocate Bashir Ahmad Bhat, while condemning Abdullah’s statement that ‘Azaadi’ was impossible for J&K, said, “Pro-India leaders particularly Abdullah have been ridiculing Azaadi as impossible just for the lust of power and position but surveys conducted since 1990s have clearly shown that more than 85 percent people in the state want independence.”
Bhat led a JKLF delegation and visited families of youth killed in Islamabad district of south Kashmir by troops and police over the past two months.
Bhat while paying rich tributes to the deceased youth said, “Young generation is writing a new chapter in the history of Kashmir with its blood.”   Meanwhile, the Front termed killing of four innocents at Palhallan Pattan in forces’ action as the worst kind of state terrorism and said the sacrifices of youth won’t go waste.
“The people of Kashmir will take the freedom movement to its logical conclusion at any cost.” he said.
