“The product has passed testing stages from Sher-i-Kashmir Agricultural University and other universities in India. It has been found effective for controlling pests and diseases affecting apple orchards.”
The fruit growers who had turned up from many parts of the valley in the seminar expressed satisfaction over the product.
However, the growers said they had little knowledge about the use of MAK HMO sprays which has been in the Valley markets for over five years now.
“The Company experts should educate the farmers about its usage so that we can use the sprays effectively,” said Ghulam Muhammad, a farmer from Sopore.
