Kashmiri goalkeeper to attend India U19 camp at Goa

 Muheet Shabir a class ninth student of New Convent High Scool hailing from Batmaloo playing as a goalkeeper for State Football Academy is attending India U 19 training camp at Goa.
Muheet was identified during the selection trials conducted by State Football Academy. He has already joined the training camp and is being trained by one of the best goal keeping cCoach of the Country Mohammad Yousuf Ansari. Head Coach of AIFF U19 Boys Team Flyod Pinto is also providing useful tips to Muheet. This is the best opportunity for Muheet to raise his standard. The camp will surely benefit him and he can turn himself into a good goalkeeper.
“We are thankful to AIFF that on a special recommendation from Sajid Yousuf Dar, Muheet has been given the opportunity to train with U19 National Team,” said Mehrajuddin Wadoo, Incharge State Football Academy.
Good thing for SFA is that they have a people like Mehraj and Sajid who need no introduction.
SFA aims to nurture the talent and provide the platform and much needed exposure said Satpal Singh Football Coach JKSSC.
Secretary Sports Council Waheed ur Rehman Parra appreciated the efforts of SFA, especially in providing the much needed platform to the budding talent. Para stressed the fact the if talent was properly nurtured and groomed we can have lots of top sportsmen and has hopes that the way SFA are working soon the state will see top footballers playing at big stages.
