Srinagar, Sep 9: J&K Bank share price soared at National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) crossing Rs. 833 and Rs. 831 mark at these exchanges respectively on Thursday.
The shares of the bank witnessed sharp price rise of Rs 45.50 at BSE, Rs. 45.50 at NSE and stood at Rs 826.35 and Rs 828.35 respectively at the time of closing.
Around 5 lakh shares were traded during the day that saw markets gaining momentum.
The surge in share price assumes significance in light of the recent deliberations held by the top management of the bank with the prominent Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) and reputed financial analysts in Mumbai.
