Founder of National Panthers Party, Prof Bhim Singh, on Thursday asked government of India-appointed interlocutor, Dineshwar Sharma, to detail about his “secret mission” to Jammu and Kashmir.

“The interlocutor, Dineshwar Sharma, a retired Director in the Intelligence Bureau should spell out what were his talks in Kashmir, which he described as ‘Peace Talks’,” Singh said in a statement.

Singh said that Sharma should tell people across India if Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, will be sending “special missionary to talk to the separatists”. “Sharma should clarify whether a separatist deserves the royal treatment or jail according to the Indian Penal Code.”

Singh questioned the mandate given to Sharma saying that “he (Sharma) doesn’t even understand the geography and political framework of J&K”.

“Sharma’s focus is on the youth of J&K. Is he aware about the situation of thousands of minor youth in J&K? Does he know how many of them are rotting in the prisons of Kashmir? Does he know that the Fundamental Rights are not available to the Indian citizens in J&K?” Singh questioned.

“What kind of understanding he would like to develop from J&K. Sharma ji is blaming some video channels who have done lot of damage to Kashmir, least realizing that he is interlocutor of Jammu and Kashmir and not Kashmir.”

Singh said that Sharma was been used as “sacrificial animal” by GoI. “Sharma should return to New Delhi with files and try to understand Jammu and Kashmir situation which Nehru, Indira ji and presently Dr. Karan Singh understood. GoI is using retired Director IB to benefit in Gujarat poll,” he alleged.
