Rajouri, Sept 6:
Rejecting speculations about the collapse of the coalition government, chief minister Omar Abdullah Monday asserted that he will be CM till 2014.

Addressing public gatherings at Budhal after inaugurating transmission lines and power stations, Omar without naming PDP said “They are not tolerating to sit in opposition and are conspiring against my government”.

He said some politicians want to topple my government and they are working and creating such environment. “I am strong enough to face them and will defeat their conspiracies. I am Chief Minister till 2014 and if people again give us mandate, we can renew the coalition,” he said.

Stating that autonomy is not a final word to solve Kashmir issue, Omar said, “This is NC’s proposal and if people opt for some other proposal, my party will respect their aspirations. Beside our party, we have proposals from Congress, PDP, BJP and Hurriyat. Let all these proposals be discussed on table so that a solution comes out, which will be acceptable to the people of this state”, he said.

About solution of the issue, he said when his grandfather could not do anything about the solution, how he can do in this way. “Let India and Pakistan discuss this issue as I have a little role to play in it. My priority instead is to reach people and solve their basic issues”.
